Individualized programs for real-world independence
Evidence-based ABA services designed around your loved one's unique strengths, goals, and everyday life.
What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based, scientific therapy focused on helping individuals learn meaningful skills as well as reducing challenging behaviors.
ABA isn't a rigid set of drills or a one-size-fits-all program. It's a flexible approach backed by decades of research, and it's considered the gold standard for supporting individuals on the autism spectrum. Every program is highly individualized, with goals shaped by the person's strengths, preferences, and real-life needs.
Progress is tracked with data — not guesswork — so families can see exactly how their loved one is growing over time.
Caregiver Training
Caregivers are the most important people in their loved one's life — and the most powerful agents of change. That's why caregiver training is a cornerstone of everything we do.
Liz works directly with caregivers, both one-on-one and alongside their loved one, teaching evidence-based strategies in real time. Training is hands-on and practical, with individualized caregiver goals that reflect your family's unique needs and routines.
A key focus is generalization — making sure the skills your loved one learns actually transfer to real life. That means practicing in different settings, with different people, and across different situations so that progress sticks beyond the therapy session.
Caregiver training can be delivered in-home, in the community, or via telehealth.
Focused Direct Services
Our focused direct services are one-on-one ABA sessions designed to target the specific skills that matter most for your loved one's independence and quality of life. Every session is guided by individualized goals developed during the assessment process.
Skill areas we commonly address include daily living routines, communication, social and relationship skills, vocational readiness, community navigation, and behavior support.
Caregiver training is woven into direct services, so families learn how to reinforce skills and strategies between sessions. Services can be delivered in-home, in the community, at a workplace, or via telehealth.
Consultation
We offer consultation services for families, schools, and organizations seeking practical, evidence-based support. Our approach is collaborative and solution-focused, helping teams develop clear, effective strategies that promote meaningful and sustainable progress.
Services may include Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plan development, program design, IEP support, and staff or caregiver training. We provide practical, structured guidance to support confident decision-making and sustainable results.

Insurance & Payment Options
Because we are a boutique service, we are actively working to become credentialed with insurance providers as the need arises. If you feel Spectrum of Independence is a good fit for you, we will begin the credentialing process with your insurance provider if it has not already been started.
Private pay options are also available for families who prefer or need them. We're happy to discuss what works best for your situation during your initial consultation.
